WEST MONROE, LA – A 67-year-old man died when his pickup truck crashed along a highway in West Monroe on Monday morning, reports KTVE 10.
Police say the incident happened just after 8 a.m. when the victim’s southbound 2007 GMC Sierra veered off of LA-34 and collided with a tree. The crash happened just north of LA-557.
Authorities identified the victim as William F. Guraedy of West Monroe. Guraedy died at the scene of the accident.
It is unclear if the victim was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. A full investigation of the incident is underway.
