Pedestrian stable after jumping in path of car in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, LA – Medics transported a male pedestrian to the hospital after a vehicle struck him on a roadway in Baton Rouge on Wednesday morning, reports WAFB 9.

Police say a man jumped in front of a car around 6:15 a.m. on Perkins Road near Meadow Park Avenue, which is just east of LA-3246.

The pedestrians sustained moderate injuries in the crash but is expected to recover.

No other injuries have been reported in connection with the accident.
