No injuries when car hits Family Dollar in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, LA – Baton Rouge Police are investigating after a car crashed into the front of a Family Dollar store early Thursday morning, reports WAFB 9.

Authorities say the incident happened sometime around 4 a.m. in the 2300 block of Plank Avenue, which is near Monroe Avenue.

Police responded to a business alarm at the scene, at which point they determined that the vehicle involved in the crash was empty.

No injuries have been reported so far in connection to the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
