No injuries reported in NOLA streetcar collision

NEW ORLEANS, LA – A streetcar collided with a sedan in downtown New Orleans on Friday.

WGNO reports that eyewitnesses saw the streetcar push the car approximately 20 feet away.

Police say the accident occurred near the intersection of Claiborne Avenue and Canal Street. They have not commented on how the crash happened but did verify that nobody was injured.

A full investigation of the collision is underway.
