VINTON, LA – A single-vehicle crash involving an overturned crane in central Calcasieu Parish Wednesday morning caused only minor injuries, 7 KPLC News reports.
Police say the accident happened before 7 a.m. on I-10 East near Mile Marker 5. The overturned crane blocked both lanes of eastbound traffic.
Officials encouraged drivers to avoid the area or face long delays. They diverted eastbound traffic to Highway 290 as crews responded at the scene.
