SLIDELL, LA – WDSU News reports that a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a tractor-trailer on I-12 near Slidell on Wednesday.
Authorities say the accident took place around 10:00 p.m. near Airport Road when the pedestrian was walking along the westbound lanes and was struck by a driver of an 18-wheeler.
The pedestrian was killed in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene.
