PRIDE, LA – A 65-year-old woman operating a 2019 Dodge Caravan drifted off the road when she was struck by a falling tree, leading her to hit another tree, resulting in her death.
This collision happened on Friday, March 15th, at the Lisa Drive and Greenwell Springs Road junction amid severe weather conditions.
The driver, Vivian H. Johnson, 65, of Clinton, succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.
Louisiana State Police started an investigation and confirmed that intoxication did not play a role in this crash.
