Narrative
LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA – A motorcyclist failed to negotiate a curve on LA-22, leading him to drift off the road and strike an embankment before succumbing to fatal injuries Wednesday. This fatal wreck occurred after 8:30 p.m. Officials said that after the crash, 47-year-old Anthony McChesney was thrown from his 2003 Big Dog motorcycle. Upon arrival, first responders found a helmet along the bike. However, it is unclear if McChesney was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. McChesney was pronounced dead at the scene.
