Narrative
BATON ROUGE, LA – A 40-year-old man was killed while he was walking on northbound U.S. 61 and was struck by a driver who then fled the scene Saturday. This collision occurred after 8:30 p.m. Louisiana State Police said the man – Jacob Perez from Zachary – was also hit by a BMW X3 and Chevrolet Traverse. Troopers pronounced him dead at the scene.
