LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA – A 39-year-old man lost his life when he crashed his 1998 Dodge Ram pickup truck into a tree along LA 42 East before 9:30 a.m. Thursday. The driver — 39-year-old Pedro Hernandez — succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene. It is not immediately clear if tiredness, distracted driving, impairment, a medical episode, or other incidents played a role in this deadly crash.
