NEW ORLEANS, LA – One pedestrian died and another was hospitalized after they were hit by a vehicle on Highway 90 Thursday.
This crash happened around 5 a.m. The two pedestrians, who initially were vehicle passengers, traveling on the highway and hit an unspecified object. As a result, their car became disabled and they got out of the car. When they got out, that’s when they were struck by another driver, who tried to avoid hitting them.
The pedestrian who succumbed to fatal wounds was identified as 37-year-old Benjamin Credeur. The other pedestrian with Credeur was sent to a hospital, and the driver of the other car sustained minor wounds.
