BATON ROUGE, LA – A 54-year-old woman died on Monday morning in a hit-and-run collision with a stolen vehicle on a roadway in Baton Rouge, reports WAFB 9.
Police say the incident happened around 10:15 a.m. on North Street in the area of Heugly Drive.
Authorities have not commented on how the crash happened but say it involved a 2006 Ford Explorer and a 2012 Chevrolet pickup truck.
The driver of the Ford, identified as Dedra Marshall, died after transport to a local hospital.
The driver of the stolen Chevrolet fled the scene of the crash.
