MOORINGSPORT, LA – Medics transported a truck driver to the hospital after his 18-wheeler crashed along a state highway in Mooringsport on Tuesday afternoon, reports KTBS 3.
Police aren’t sure how the accident happened. Responders reported to SH-169 between Blanchard Furrh Road and Blanchard Latex Road just before 2:30 p.m.
The driver of the semi-truck was injured when the vehicle overturned. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.
A full investigation of the accident is underway with law enforcement.
