Feliciana Parish Crash Reports

SLAUGHTER, LA – A 53-year-old woman died Wednesday after her car crashed with another vehicle along a state highway in central East Feliciana Parish, BRPROUD reports. Police say the incident happened in the morning when, for unknown reasons, a westbound 2013 Mercedes SUV veered into an eastbound lane of traffic and crashed head-on into a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. The unrestrained driver of the Mercedes, identified as Stacey Hornsby of Clinton, died at the scene of the accident. Medics transported the driver of the Silverado to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation with law

Norwood, LA – A woman died this week when her car veered into the opposite lane on LA-19 and collided with another driver, reports WAFB 9. Louisiana State Police say the incident happened around 7AM on Wednesday just north of LA 422. Butler was driving her Ford Focus north on LA-19 when, for unknown reasons, she exited her lane and crashed into a Nissan Rogue that was traveling in the opposite direction. Butler was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other driver was transported to a local hospital with injuries. Louisiana State Police will continue to investigate this incident.
