SHREVEPORT, LA – A 36-year-old man died, and two other people were injured Thursday after two vehicles collided head-on along a busy roadway in Shreveport, reports KSLA News 12.
Police say the incident happened just after 7 a.m. in the 800 block of Flournoy Lucas Road, which is just west of Brush Bayou.
The investigation thus far suggests that a 2016 Nissan Rogue and a 2004 GMC Envoy collided head on after one of the vehicles veered over the center line of the roadway.
Medics transported three adults to the hospital, one of whom died approximately 45 minutes after the collision. Authorities identified the victim, who was the driver of the Rogue, as Bennie Webster Jr.
