BATON ROUGE, LA – A 40-year-old man died after crashing his vehicle along a roadway in Baton Rouge on Sunday afternoon, reports WAFB 9.
Police say the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. on South Acadian Thruway near Hundred Oaks Avenue, which is just east of Dawson Creek.
The investigation thus far suggests that for unknown reasons, the victim lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, and crashed into a fence and a sign.
The victim, identified as Laroy Blackmore, died after transport to a local hospital.
