MONROE, LA – KTVE reports that one pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Monroe early Tuesday morning.
According to authorities, the crash occurred on the 2100 block of Jackson Street shortly after midnight. The victim was hit by a white work truck, which then fled the scene.
The victim was taken to a Shreveport hospital where they are being treated for their injuries.
An investigation is currently ongoing.
